Coppe Alessandro Farm
The Coppe Alessandro’s Farm offers goat’s milk cheeses and sells young goats.
Founded in 2015, this family-run business involves Alessandro, who, along with his father Lucio, manages the goat breeding, while his mother Martina focuses on cheese production. They make fresh, aged and semi-aged, walnut-leaf aged and hay-aged cheeses caciotte but also ricotta, robiola, and primo sale.
The business began as a hobby rooted in Alessandro’s passion and has gradually expanded. Today, they have 50 goats in production and 14 young Camosciate delle Alpi goats.
“Goats are very sensitive animals; they constantly seek human contact, recognize the sound of my car, and the sound of my voice” Alessandro says.
For the Coppe family, animal welfare is essential: the goats are kept in a barn and fed hay from local fields, with supplementary feed that varies by season. They produce milk from February to November, with a dry period in the winter months. Every morning at 5:30am and every evening at 6:00pm, the goats are milked, and the milk is then processed into various cheeses.
